UK Leave Planner is an independent tool for comparing time-off plans with published UK bank holidays. It is operated under the name UK Leave Planner and is not affiliated with GOV.UK, the UK government or an employer.

Our approach

The day counts come from calendar arithmetic and the official holiday list. The highlighted ideas are automatically selected from precomputed date ranges; the dates and day counts are checked against the calendar. No claim is made that a featured plan suits every employment contract.

Where the data comes from

We use the public GOV.UK bank holiday dataset. The holiday calendar makes those dates visible so you can check a result.

What the tool does not cover

Employer approval, local closures, shift patterns, remaining holiday balances and legal entitlement are outside the calculation. Check those details before booking travel or time off.
